A BIG DIFFERENCE.<\/h2>\n<p>When you hold an iGrip stud in your hand, it looks very simple.<\/p>\n<p>Yet every part has a purpose.<\/p>\n<p>iGrip studs use a tungsten carbide tip \u2013 an extremely hard material designed for contact with hard and icy surfaces.<\/p>\n<p>The steel stud body is protected against corrosion, while the coarse thread is designed to anchor securely in rubber.<\/p>\n<p>Many SS series models use an enlarged supporting section \u2013 the \u201cshoulder\u201d. It increases the support area and helps reduce the risk of a heavily loaded stud sinking too deeply into the rubber.<\/p>\n<p>This is especially important in heavy machinery, where a single wheel can carry enormous loads.<\/p>\n<p>But the core iGrip philosophy remains very simple:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Screw it in. Use it. Remove it when needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2>ONE PRINCIPLE. HUNDREDS OF APPLICATIONS.<\/h2>\n<p>It soon became clear that the same idea could be used far beyond a single vehicle category.<\/p>\n<p>That is why iGrip models of different lengths, constructions and purposes were developed.<\/p>\n<p>Today, iGrip solutions are used:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>in agriculture \u2013 on tractors and other farm machinery;<\/li>\n<li>in forestry \u2013 where machinery must operate on snow, ice and uneven surfaces;<\/li>\n<li>on heavy equipment \u2013 loaders, excavators, graders and special-purpose machines;<\/li>\n<li>on mining machinery \u2013 where traction and machine control can be especially important;<\/li>\n<li>on snowmobiles and ATVs \u2013 where grip on ice directly changes riding characteristics;<\/li>\n<li>on bicycles \u2013 when winter is not a reason to stop riding;<\/li>\n<li>and even on work, hiking and everyday footwear \u2013 where a few small studs can provide additional grip on icy surfaces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>From a small bicycle stud to the massive SS50 for heavy machinery, the principle remains the same.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grip where it is needed.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2>WHEN A STANDARD SOLUTION IS NOT ENOUGH<\/h2>\n<p>The iGrip story is not only about manufacturing existing products.<\/p>\n<p>A major part of it is developing new solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Different machines, tires and working conditions require different studs.<\/p>\n<p>That is why the iGrip range includes standard ST models, SS models with a supporting shoulder, different carbide tip shapes and specialized solutions for specific vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most interesting examples is the SF11.<\/p>\n<p>It is a special-purpose footwear stud made with a 100% ceramic working material. It was created for environments where avoiding sparks is important and is tested for dielectric performance and impact.<\/p>\n<p>This reflects our approach:<\/p>\n<p><strong>We do not create one stud for everything. We look for the right solution to a specific problem.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<h2>FROM CANADA TO THE WORLD<\/h2>\n<p>What began in Quebec is no longer only a Canadian product.<\/p>\n<p>The iGrip manufacturer\u2019s distributor network has expanded beyond Canada, and its products can now be found in North America and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>They are offered by agricultural equipment, powersports, industrial and specialized winter-product dealers.<\/p>\n<p>But geography is not what matters most to us.<\/p>\n<p>What matters much more is that the same small iGrip stud is chosen by very different people.<\/p>\n<p>One needs it for an ATV.<\/p>\n<p>Another for a tractor.<\/p>\n<p>A third for a forestry machine.<\/p>\n<p>Someone else for work boots.<\/p>\n<p>Different countries.
